SCENARIO:

• James puts his electric vehicle on charge and starts off his day with some light exercise in his home gym.
• A notification pops up on his phone (SOLAT app) informing that his electric vehicle is fully charged. He switches off the electric vehicle charge through his mobile, from the gym.
• He switches on the geyser from his phone (SOLAT app) so that by the time he finishes his exercise. the water will be ready and he can take a quick hot shower.
• After the shower and breakfast, he leaves for his office in his electric vehicle. On the roadway, he quickly checks on the 'lights and switches' through SOLAT app.
• James and his wife have planned to throw a house party the next day. His wife starts baking some of the dishes in the evening, which are to be consumed in the party. the next day .
• Later that evening. James takes out his phone and analyses the energy consumption in his SOLAT app. He notices that the energy consumption is showing very high due to the usage of the oven. The app also showed him that whilst the energy consumption is very high in the evening, the energy production on the other hand. is at the lowest at this time of the day. He observes. the energy production is shown to be at its peak during the noon time.
• James then advises his wife to bake the remaining dishes around 12 in the noon next day, when the solar energy production will be highest and shows his wife the analysis. By efficiently managing heavy consumption hours they have not only utilized the solar energy but also by repeating this process for other heavy appliances, they managed to save a good chunk of money on their electricity bill for the month.
